Université Gustave Eiffel’ commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in the InCITIES project

As a member of the InCITIES consortium, Université Gustave Eiffel is working with partners such as Iscte-Institut Universitaire de Lisbonne and Laurea University of Applied Sciences to promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in higher education.

President Gilles Roussel reaffirms this commitment: ‘The Université Gustave Eiffel is committed to fostering a safe and open learning and working environment, while cultivating a culture of equality. The signing of the Joint Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Plan (EDI Plan) in collaboration with our international InCITIES partners demonstrates our ongoing commitment to these core values.’

InCITIES partners ensure that the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion are reflected in their day-to-day strategies and practices. These values are integrated into curriculum design, research practices and recruitment processes to create a culture where diversity is valued and everyone can flourish.

To encourage sustainable change, InCITIES partners are committed to adapting to advances in EDI and helping to tackle systemic inequalities, ensuring that our university remains a key player in social progress and inclusion.

Through the InCITIES project, Université Gustave Eiffel remains committed to building a more inclusive academic environment and contributing to positive societal change across Europe.
